After Biles left, the USA finished with a silver medal behind Russia’s gold.

Biles later revealed that she has also been dealing with a number of mental health issues which included intense pressure to be perfect and her fear of how she would be judged by the public.

Biles also mentioned that she would be working on her mental health over the next few days and hopes she will able to complete in the all-around competition on Thursday and in the four individual event finals.

After withdrawing from the competition, Biles still remained on the floor to loudly cheer on and encourage her teammates!

After news broke, the internet is making sure Simone knows we all are still routing for her, after receiving an outpouring of support from her fans, wishing her all the best for the future.

Biles even shared her own thoughts on Instagram after the competition.
“It wasn’t an easy day or my best but I got through it. I truly do feel like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders at times,” Biles wrote on Monday. “I know I brush it off and make it seem like pressure doesn’t affect me but damn sometimes it’s hard hahaha! The Olympics is no joke! BUT I’m happy my family was able to be with me virtually. They mean the world to me!”
