Sketching makes me feel like an artist…

So, as a scrapbooker, I would say that I don’t totally consider myself an artist so much as I consider myself a crafter… I don’t know if they are the same thing or not, and I am sure just saying this could totally spark a huge debate on some scrapbook forum somewhere, so instead of saying it there, I will just say it here. 🙂 But, when I sketch out my layouts first, I TOTALLY feel like an artist! Like a bona fide artist… and the cool thing about the sketches… when you do sketch the stuff out, then when you go to actually make the pages it takes like NO TIME at all… These are actually part of a little felt mother’s day book I am doing for my class Oodles of Doodles and the Scrapbook Pad. I wish I had named my class Doodlelicious instead of Oodles of Doodles… but I am thinking it is probably too late to change the name. 🙁 ohhhh well lol… I will forever be the oodle girl 🙂 Now, the big question here is… should I start to scrapping tonight, or should I wait until tomorrow to let the creative juices flow? I am thinking that my sweet sweet bed just might be calling my name. 🙂 And I WILL be able to just sit down and smack these pages out once I get into the flow tomorrow… and I would hate to get into the flow right now and be up til three in the morning… hmmmm seems I have made my choice….. tomorrow it is… but I really wanna scrap today…. dork alert. 🙂
