What Is Boba?
If you’re unfamiliar with boba, it’s a recent popular food craze that sinks at the bottom of bubble tea and is made up of small tapioca balls that are chewy and literally, bursting with flavor.

Thanks to TikToker @emilyfigueroa, we now know how to make the speciality that sits at the bottom of your to-go cup!

How to Make Strawberry Boba
Starting of with what you probably have already guessed, a handful, (specifically 1/2 a cup) of fire hydrant red strawberries, cut into slivers, and thrown into a bowl!

Then, pour in two tablespoons of sugar and water.

Microwave for one minute and strain the mixture to omit any large chunks.

After cooling for two to three minutes, stir in three tablespoons of tapioca starch; microwave for one minute in 15 second intervals.

Roll your dough into small balls and sprinkle with more starch!

Boil for 20 minutes and let them sit in the water for another 20; strain and rinse in cool water.

Transfer to a bowl and coat them in honey or sugar for an extra sweet taste!

Add them to the bottom of your cup and enjoy with your favorite beverage, at the comfort of your own couch!
