The First Teaser Trailer For The New ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’ Is Here and I’m So Excited

‘Supernatural’ fans will be pleased to see Jared Padalecki in his newest role in the reboot of ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’! I know he has a huge fanbase and y’all it’s time to get excited!

The release is getting close and today they released a teaser promo to get you fired up! ‘Supernatural’ may be over, but you can still dig on your guy!

Also starring in the reboot of a show that I grew up with, yes I am that old… is Keegan Allen, Mitch Pileggi, Lindsey Morgan, and Genevieve Padalecki (Yes that is Jared’s real-life wife!).

The CW first announce the new series back in September of last year and right now they are aiming for it to debut in January of 2021.

This is a complete reimagining of the original television series and I’m not sure what to expect yet. I mean how do you compete with Chuck Norris?

Jared Padalecki will be playing Cordell Walker who is a widower and a father of two. He also has his own moral code. Walker decides to return to his home of Austin, Texas after being undercover for two years.

He’ll attempt to reconnect with his creative and thoughtful son (Kale Culley, “Me, Myself and I”) and his headstrong, somewhat rebellious teenaged daughter (Violet Brinson, “Sharp Objects”) and navigate clashes with his family – an ADA brother (Keegan Allen, “Pretty Little Liars”) who stepped in during Walker’s absence, his perceptive mother (Molly Hagen, “Herman’s Head”) and his traditional rancher father (Mitch Pileggi, “The X-Files”). Walker’s former colleague is now his Ranger Captain, (Coby Bell, “The Game”). Walker finds unexpected common ground with his new partner (one of the first women in Texas Rangers’ history) played by Lindsey Morgan (“The 100”), while growing increasingly suspicious about the circumstances surrounding his wife’s death. The show also stars Jeff Pierre as Trey Barnett.
