The army has narrowed down the best material for DIY face masks.
As we all know, there are many tutorials in creating your own face mask from home and there are a lot of sources stating what material is best to use!
However, it can be super overwhelming and if you’re still asking questions, the army has the answer!
“We knew that claims about masks and face coverings were exploding all over the internet, and we wanted to make sure that any decisions about materials these agencies make will be based on proven science, said Caretti.”

However you can also use a polyester bandana that is layered, if you can’t get your hands on a four-ply microfiber cloth!
The polyester bandana can filter out 40 percent of suspended particles, according to the Chemical Biological Center
