This Chiefs Player Celebrated Winning The Super Bowl By Paying for All Dog Adoption Fees At A Local Shelter
Grab the tissues for this one… The Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi decided to celebrate winning the Super Bowl by paying for all dog adoption fees at a local shelter. Isn’t that amazing?!
Instead of Nnadi spending his winnings on some lavish lifestyle, he decided to pledge to pay for dog adoptions fees at a local animal shelter in Kansas City called The KC Pet Project.
The KC Pet Project posted on Instagram with the news saying:
“KC WINS! We are so excited to announce that the Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle, Derrick Nnadi is choosing to celebrate the Super Bowl win by paying for the adoptions of all the adoptable dogs currently at KC Pet Project!
We have had an amazing, season-long, partnership with @dnnadi and he couldn’t have thought of a better ending.
This partnership has been sponsored by the Derrick Nnadi Foundation. To learn more and donate today visit www.dnnadifoundation.orgTo see all of our adoptable dogs visit www.kcpetproject.org/adopt/dogs
I have to say, while I know NOTHING about Derrick Nnadi, I do know one thing – he has a big and kind heart. This is such an amazing thing to do.
If you live near Kansas City (or don’t mind taking a road trip) head over to The KC Pet Project to adopt your new best friend. Fees are covered. Just be prepared to give your furry friend their fur-ever home.
