I must admit that I officially think the world has gone crazy, at least with these baking trends! In France, there was a chef who made Coronavirus themed Easter eggs and now, there’s another trend related to the pandemic.

Recently, people have been focusing in on their inner chef and making meals out of recipes that call for 3 ingredients or less, makes sense considering the shortage of food there is lately in grocery stores.

We have the Dalgona coffee, which is a frothy cup of deliciousness that started from Tik Tok, and now ladies and gentleman, we have toilet paper cakes, yep, toilet paper cakes.

Now although this trend is definitely pretty funny, it’s almost heartbreaking because seeing these cakes, makes me want to buy a roll or two myself.

These cakes are crazy similar to what an actual toiler paper roll looks like, and I swear, if I already didn’t know they were baked goods, I would have thought they were real!

What’s even crazier is that you can purchase the toilet paper cakes at select bakeries. Loft22 Cakes in Fort Worth, Texas, Haydel’s Bakery in New Orleans, Louisiana and Kiss Me Cakes Bakery and Dessert Shop in Hope Mills, North Carolina, are three bakeries already that are selling these speciality cakes!

So who knows, maybe the nearest bakery near you is selling these strangely look alike toilet paper cakes. They do say that laughter is the best medicine and these toilet paper cakes surely are humorous!
