The Trailer For The New ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’ Starring Jared Padalecki Is Finally Here
Jared Padalecki from ‘Supernatural’ is the NEW ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’ in the reboot! Chuck Norris has some big boots and filling those will not be easy, however I am open to see how this goes.
The series will premiere on January 21st, 2021 on the CW and I just can’t wait! I know all of the ‘Supernatural’ fans are probably excited to see your main dude again!
He does look pretty decent in that hat! Also starring is Keegan Allen, Mitch Pileggi, Lindsey Morgan, and Genevieve Padalecki (Yes, that is Jared’s real-life wife!).
Jared Padalecki will be star as Cordell Walker. He is a widower and a father of two. He also has his very own moral code! Walker decides to return to his home of Austin, Texas after being undercover for two years.
The original ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’ was on the air for eight seasons between 1993 to 2001 on CBS. Chuck Norris later brought the character back in 2005 for a made-for-TV movie titled ‘Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire’.
Reboot of ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’ synopsis
He’ll attempt to reconnect with his creative and thoughtful son (Kale Culley, “Me, Myself and I”) and his headstrong, somewhat rebellious teenaged daughter (Violet Brinson, “Sharp Objects”) and navigate clashes with his family – an ADA brother (Keegan Allen, “Pretty Little Liars”) who stepped in during Walker’s absence, his perceptive mother (Molly Hagen, “Herman’s Head”) and his traditional rancher father (Mitch Pileggi, “The X-Files”). Walker’s former colleague is now his Ranger Captain, (Coby Bell, “The Game”). Walker finds unexpected common ground with his new partner (one of the first women in Texas Rangers’ history) played by Lindsey Morgan (“The 100”), while growing increasingly suspicious about the circumstances surrounding his wife’s death. The show also stars Jeff Pierre as Trey Barnett.
