Tell The Truth Tuesday: Everything’s Dancing
1. I love The Big Bang Theory. It’s pretty much greatness in television form, and I wish there were more shows based on the awesomely awesome geek stereotype. But I totally want Sheldon and Penny together. Sure, Leonard would be sad… but it’s a small price to pay for the awesomeness.
2. I actually have so much crap to do that I feel bad about blogging right now, and that’s stupid–because my blog is really one of the few things that’s entirely for me. It’s weird, because it’s all out in the open and anyone who wants to can read it–but it’s still just for me. 🙂
3. I drink a diet cherry limeade from Sonic probably four times a week, and have for several years. Several times I’ve tried to figure out how to make them myself, but I can never get it right. Maybe it’s the Styrofoam cup.
4. My spell check just corrected styrofoam to Styrofoam–why? Is that actually a brand name and not the name of a material or something? I’d go look it up, but I have a lot of crap to do, and I don’t want to get lost in the giant maze of the internet.
5. Oh who am I kidding? That was such a lie, and on tell the truth Tuesday, that just won’t do. I SO want to get lost in the giant maze of the internet–if only to meet the goblin king and beg him to take me away from all the insanity. I still maintain that he wasn’t a bad guy–just a man in tight pants driven by his love for a beautiful girl. Damn, that’s such a great movie.
I also love “Big Bang Theory,” probably mostly because of my Nerdican American heritage.
The Big bang Theory is the only thing I watch on tele, so nice to see another writer likes it too 🙂 I should watch it way more often though.
I LUV The Big Bang Theory–I’ve been trying to convince my science teacher friend to watch it. Played her the opening sequence and everything (did you know it’s a whole, long & darned funny Barenaked Ladies song? I just learned that!).
Don’t worry about the blog–I’ve been a bad blogger this month, too, despite my resolution to do better. *sigh* I’m starting over in February. Back on track, I swear! 🙂
@Mary, YES! I am a HUGE HUGE barenaked Ladies fan, so I TOTALLY recognized them!
They’re the bestest!!!
I get a large unsweet iced tea from Sonic every school day, usually. Hooray for happy hour!
@nicole, haha how do we never run into each other?!?
Omigosh, I love the Big Bang Theory so much! I want everyone on the planet to watch it.
Also, Labrynth rules. My cousin swears David Bowie in that movie was her first sexual experience. She was nine. He was just that hot.
– Liz
@Liz Czukas, HAHA! David Bowie WAS hot. 🙂
YES! EVERYONE on earth should watch that show because I want it to stay on FOREVER!
My husband’s favorite movie! And loved your post. Got a kick out of you “lie.” 🙂 Getting lost does sound nice, doesn’t it? 😀
@Janet Johnson, and I totally did it, too. Darn internet!
HA! I JUST WATCHED that movie last week! And you’re right – SUCH a good movie. I attribute all my subsequent crushes on inappropriate or unattainable men (like David Bowie and Superman), and my current love for books in which the heroine has a crush on an inappropriate or unattainable man, to the fact that I watched that movie as a tween.
And The Big Bang Theory is awesome, too.
Now I’ve got to go take care of all MY crap…
@Ishta Mercurio, right?!?! Because who can ever live up to the Goblin King? No man, I tell you!
