Universal Orlando Just Announced They Are Closing Due To The Coronavirus
Y’all. This just keeps getting more and more crazy!

Universal Orlando just announced that they will be closed starting Monday, March 16.

They plan on being closed through the end of March, but will continue to monitor the ever-changing situation.

Out of an abundance of caution and to assist with our nation’s preventive efforts, Universal Orlando Resort will temporarily close its theme parks and Blue Man Group Shows. The closure is effective Monday, March 16th. We anticipate remaining closed through the end of March – but will continue to evaluate the situation.
Universal Orlando
This news comes just ONE DAY after Disney announced they will close both their California Disneyland park, and their ENTIRE Orlando Disney World theme park epicenter.
At both Universal Orlando and Disney, the downtown area will stay open (Universal City Walk and Disney Springs), as well as area hotels and eateries.
You should know that this is sort of a big deal.
Universal Orlando basically never close unless they actually have to. They have only ever closed during hurricane threats and other situations of the same severity.
This is sure to mess up some epic Spring Break plans! I am so sorry!
Well, now we are getting the chance to stay home and binge watch a new Netflix series.
