Walmart Is Hiring 150,000 Employees and Offering Special Cash Bonuses to New Hires

Well, if you have been sent home by your job, and your needing temporary employment, we may have an idea for you.

On Thursday, Walmart announced it plans to hire 150,000 employees to help stock their depleted stores, and keep them up and running.

We know millions of Americans who are usually employed at this time are temporarily out of work, and at the same time we’re currently seeing strong demand in our stores.

As part of responding to the current environment, Walmart is also hiring 150,000 new associates through the end of May to work in stores, clubs, distribution centers and fulfillment centers.

These jobs will be temporary at first, but a bunch of them could turn into full-time jobs later on, according to Walmart Corporate.

Walmart is really in need of cashiers and stockers — so if you are willing to do either one of those positions, this may be the time for you to shine!
