I feel like every day there is something new happening that targets our children.

Right now the warning comes from the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office about a series of online videos that were inspired by a game character called ‘Huggy Wuggy’.

‘Huggy Wuggy’ is a character from a survival-themed horror game called ‘Poppy Playtime’ and the game itself is actually rated for ages 12 and up.

I’ve never seen the game, nor the character, but according to the Sherrif’s office, ‘Huggy Wuggy’ is a blue bear-like character with sharp teeth.

Apparently, the videos start off in a way that makes them seem like they are meant for children, however, the videos quickly turn “nightmarish”.

The videos are made by fans of the game and have been posted on YouTube.

The contents of these videos are NOT ok for children with depictions of murder, decapitation, and nasty language.

The Lafayette Co. Sheriff’s Office asks that you please check your children’s use on YouTube and other video-sharing platforms.

My hugs don’t hurt one bit, you’ll be dead before the pain comes!
