McDonald’s is known for its iconic golden fries that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. But when it comes to ordering fries, many people opt for the medium or small sizes.

However, there are a few reasons why you should only order a large fry at McDonald’s.

Seriously, just hear me out…

Here’s Why You Should Only Order a Large Fry at McDonald’s

For starters, the cost of a large fry is only slightly more than a medium or small fry.

In fact, the price difference between a medium and a large fry is usually only a few cents. So, for just a little extra money, you can get a lot more fries.

This means, more bang for your buck!

In fact, YouTubers The Food Theorists tested small, medium and large fries from four chains in three different cities: McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A, Wendy’s and Arby’s.

They individually weighed the fry orders using a digital scale to find out the exact weight and volume of each type and size. The goal? Find the most cost-effective fry order.

Turns out, The Food Theorists found that the large McDonald’s fry was the best deal money-wise coming in at $1.26 per gram.

Secondly, some people have said that when ordering a Large Fry, they tend to get a fresh batch of fries every time.

The reason? It’s simple – it takes more fries to fill up a large fry box thus meaning McDonald’s employees often need to make more fries.

So, if you are looking for the most fries for your buck and possibly even the freshest of fries, opt for a Large Fry only at McDonald’s.

Also, keep in mind, McDonald’s often has coupons to give you a Large fry for just $1 using their app.

In fact, I just checked my app and there is currently a coupon for $1 Any Size Fries!! Whoot!
