A New ‘Bill And Ted’ Movie Is Happening and Dude, I’m So Excited

Dude – it’s happening!

31 years after the first Bill and Ted movie was released, we are getting the 3rd movie in the series.

Yes, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are totally coming back!

The official Bill and Ted 3 Twitter profile posted this:

“The world is about to get a lot more excellent. Watch this special announcement from your two favorite dudes! 8.21.20”

The film will be called “Bill & Ted Face the Music” and will follow the as adults with families.

“To fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure, when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe. Along the way, they will be helped by their families, old friends and a few music legends.”

Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure was released in 1989 and quickly became a cult classic with Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey releasing in 1991.

Since then, fans have been begging for the 3rd movie which was teased several years ago.

Since then we haven’t heard much until today.

So, dude, are you ready?!

It’s going to be interesting to see Keanu Reeves get back into a role like this since he’s been playing some bad-ass, serious roles lately.
