Thanks to TikToker @_catben_ who showed her followers what an after dark kitchen cleanup looks like, viewers were quick to notice that aluminum foil was apart of the TikToker’s daily cleanup!

Many social media users were quick to ask in the comment section the purpose of ripping a piece of aluminum foil, crumbling it up in a ball and tossing it in the dishwasher.

According to the creator of the video, tossing in a ball of aluminum foil in one of the silverware cubbies helps make the silverware look shinier and remove’s pesky water spots.
