Ben Affleck And Michael Keaton Are Returning As Batman In The Flash Movie. Here’s What We Know.
You either loved him, or you hated him as Batman. Odds are, based on reviews, you did not enjoy his version of the Dark Knight.
Regardless of whether you loved him or disliked him immensely, he is coming BACK for the multiverse movie version of The Flash.
Who the heck am I talking about? Ben Affleck.
Yep, Ben Affleck is reprising his role as Bruce Wayne — and Batman — just in time to appear in The Flash.
His Caped Crusader will appear along with Michael Keaton’s in the upcoming movie, which explores a multiverse of DC Comics heroes.

What the heck do we mean by multiverse? Well, Michael Keaton will play the same Batman he played in the Tim Burton version of Batman, and Affleck will bring back HIS Batman in the same movie (The Flash) — just in a different universe.
Weird, I know. You just have to see it.
The Flash will be director Andy Muschietti, and it will be his first time tackling a superhero film. He is, however, really impressed by Affleck’s take on the role of this particular superhero.
His Batman has a dichotomy that is very strong which is his masculinity—because of the way he looks, and the imposing figure that he has, and his jawline —but he’s also very vulnerable — He knows how to deliver from the inside out, that vulnerability. He just needs a story that allows him to bring that contrast, that balance.

This will make the THIRD live-action Batman character we will see coming to theaters in the very near future.
We have Ben Affleck, Michael Keaton, and Robert Pattinson all giving us their versions of The Dark Knight. Are you confused yet?
Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton are going to appear in alternate universes for The Flash, and Robert Pattinson is moving forward as the new face of the franchise.
No word on WHEN we might see this multiverse world that will be created by The Flash movie, but you know we will keep you updated as we know more!
