Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and Christmas Specials Will Be Broadcasting On TV After All!
I feel like I just heard a collective scream of rejoicing roll through the United States! Thanks to a new partnership between Apple TV+ and PBS we will be able to still watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and A Charlie Brown Christmas!
Peanuts fans, myself included were so upset when we learned that the classic films wouldn’t be airing on broadcast television. There were even petitions!
Thankful they have come up with a plan and we can now watch it on PBS and PBD KIDS! It will still be playing on Apple TV+ as well.
They will stream ad-free on Apple TV+. ‘A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving’ will air on November 18th and will be free November 25th until November 27th on Apple TV+. ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ will air on December 4th and will be free from December 11th until December 13th on Apple TV+.
If you’re like me and don’t have those services, I got you! ‘A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving’ will air on PBS and PBS KIDS on November 22nd at 6:30 PM Central Time. ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ will be available on PBS and PBD KIDS on December 13th at 6:30 PM Central Time.
I am so freaking happy and can not wait to tell my kids, who are now teens. This is a tradition and I’m so happy it can continue!!
saw this at 6pm pst. Checked tvg and pbs schedules for 11/18/20. No sign of the Charlie Brown for
Thanskgiving.show. Will watch tv just in case.

ahh, forget what I just posted, I can’t read .. lol. Kopb has it Sun 11/22/20 at 7:30pm pst. So glad it’s being aired this year. Hope they never stop. I do miss the Wizard of Oz! Guess I’ll have to watch my dvd instead. Thanks for posting all this stuff, Quirky Mama.
