How would you improve a French toast recipe?

The best way to improve a french toast recipe is by NOT using bread.

Like I mentioned above, bread tends to get soggy even if you heat it up on in the skillet.

I like my french toast more firm so that when I add toppings, it doesn’t get too soggy or gooey in the middle. That’s why I like using english muffins.

Breakfast food is probably one of my top most favorite foods in the world to eat. Hence, me showing off my french toast made with english muffins. Now, you’re probably thinking if you can make a french toast casserole out of this recipe.

Well, you actually can! You can make french toast casserole from almost any type of great, sturdy form of bread. Personally, I love making it with brioche (who doesn’t), but english muffins can add a different type of texture and dimension to it.
