As a mother of 3 daughters, the fear of something happening to them like this is terrifying, especially after losing my friend Susie.
I just watched the trailer for ‘The Murder of Gabby Petito: Truth, Lies and Social Media’.
The documentary is from Peacock and features Gabby’s family sharing things about Gabby’s life and her disappearance.
It’s time for her family’s voices to be heard.
It’s still unbelievable. I don’t understand it.

Everyone was so invested, there was hope that she was alive, but we all knew deep down that it was unlikely.
We also knew that her killer was her own fiance.
Soon after Gabby was reported missing by her family, Brian took off.
He was found deceased by suicide, but I don’t feel sorry for him… I feel sorry for Gabby’s family that will never get the chance to confront him.
The documentary also shows us how social media impacted the case, with interviews with journalists that covered the story from the beginning until the end.
I do hope this will help other cases that have gone unsolved, if everyone helps we can help more people get the closure they need.
