Here’s When You’ll Start Seeing Clorox Wipes In-Store Again
When is this “no Clorox wipes” madness going to end?
We have been taking it old school, and wiping our counters with hot water and a rag. Sanitize, that does not.
Everytime I go to the store, the cleaning aisle is bare bones. Nuthin!
The CEO of Clorox, Benno Dorer, has finally spoken, and I’ll be honest, it isn’t the news I wanted to hear.
We think that there’s going to be substantial improvement this summer. It’s going to be touch and go until then, unfortunately.

Did he say, SUMMER? Now I’m, admittedly, not great at math, but isn’t that like, at least a month and half away — MINIMUM?!?
The problem is, Clorox was not prepared for the 500% increase in demand in such a short time.
The EPA — Environmental Protection agency — has stated that Clorox, and Clorox wipes, are perfect to use to protect against the coronavirus.
Because of this, people have FLOCKED to the store to buy up all the cleaning products.
Just like the toilet paper, the Clorox is almost impossible to come by these days.
Demand has been clearly unprecedented, and we’re in uncharted territory for our supply chain, in particular, in disinfecting products.

To try and meet demand to the greatest extent possible, we’ve been running our cleaning and disinfecting product plants 24/7 — To increase output, we’ve accessed third-party supply sources focused on manufacturing of disinfecting products and those that can be supplied most quickly, and we’ve been partnering with suppliers and retailers to get product where it is needed the most.

So, I guess, for now, I just continue to use good ol’ elbow grease and hot water. *Sigh*
