Instagram Is Releasing Its Own Version Of TikTok Next Month and I’m Really Excited
There has been a lot of talk that TikTok could be banned soon in the US, India has already banned it. Users are posting how sad that they are that they may lose this part of their social media, but Instagram is working on something that is supposed to be pretty similar to TikTok!
I love Instagram already because I am a photo person. I would rather see pictures than anything else. Facebook gets too dramatic for me, but show me a picture or video of your day and I am happy!
Instagram announced Friday that they are releasing the video-sharing feature in the United States and 50 other countries. They’ve already been testing it in India.
With the new feature, you will be able to record and edit 15 second long videos. You can then choose to add music and audio to your videos as well, just like you can on TikTok! I can not wait to see what Leslie Jordan does with this new feature!
YouTube is also working on its own answer to TikTok, so if you are worried about losing TikTok maybe you will enjoy one of these other options that are in the works.
There is not an actual release date for Instagram’s new feature, but we will definitely update once we know more. They have said that it should be available sometime in August and I can not wait! What do you think? Are you excited about this new feature?
