Jamie Foxx Is Going To Reprise His Role Of Electro In Spider-Man 3
The world of Spider-Man is coming together, and just like all the other movies in the MCU, I. Can. Not. Wait!
Way back when Disney didn’t have their hands in the Spider-Man franchise, there was a little movie called The Amazing Spider-Man 2. In said movie, there was an actor — you may know of him — who played the evil supervillain, Electro. The actor’s name was Jamie Foxx.
Well, my Spidey-loving, MCU fanatics — Electro is BACK, and guess who is reprising the role! Jamie Foxx, himself.
I couldn’t be more excited about this news out of the Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures worlds!
We don’t have many more details AT ALL about the upcoming film, but this is a pretty big spoiler for the Spidey Universe!
Story details are being kept under the mask, but having Foxx return is a stunner as it shows a further melding of the previous Spider-Man movies into the current Holland series, which is the first one that has Marvel running point on production.

(Tom) Holland will once again star as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the upcoming movie, which is being directed by Jon Watts. Also set to return is the core cast of Zendaya, Jacob Batalan, Marisa Tomei, and Tony Revolori. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Simmons appear as Jameson once again, especially since he’s the one responsible for revealing Spider-Man’s true identity to the world.

We will have to wait and see how Foxx’s character will fit into, and be portrayed in the new movie. You can bet I’ll be anxiously awaiting any word!!
