The Kiwi Starfruit Refresher Is Finally Available At Starbucks And It’s The End of Summer Drink We All Need
Cheers to the end of summer! It’s been a lonnnnggg ride.
What better way to kiss Summer 2020 goodbye than with a refreshing new Starbucks drink?
Starbucks Refreshers have been such a big hype lately, that it is no surprise that they had plans to come out with a new and amazing flavor.
Seasoned fans will remember some Refreshers of Starbucks past, such as the Valencia Orange Refresher and the Cool Lime Refresher. Both of these were absolutely AMAZING flavors, and I still don’t get why they are no longer with us.
The current flavors are the Strawberry Acai, Very Berry Hibiscus, and Mango Dragonfruit Refreshers. But there should already be a forth refresher on the line up, but it got severely delayed.
This is the Kiwi Starfruit Refresher. It was supposed to release on June 26th, but here we are in August and it still isn’t a thing, until right now.
The release date kept getting pushed back over and over, which I assume can only be due to the social distancing and lack of stores open at the moment.
This is available as a normal refresher, or with coconut added, which is called the Star Drink.
I happened to already get a taste of this drink since I was a barista at the time and we had to sample them, and let me just say, I’m not excited. If you want my full review of this drink, check out my post here:

But don’t take my word for it. Please go try it for yourself and come back and let us know how you feel about it! To me it was very similar to a sour apple candy and that’s just not for me personally.
The coconut milk version was a little better, but not enough for me to ever actually want to order it. Sorry guys. But there are others who love it so don’t just take my word for it!
They have finally released this drink after two months of waiting which is such a huge surprise to me, considering Pumpkin Spice is releasing next week. I guess at this point, they just needed to get it over with.
So run to Starbucks and get your hands on one of these Kiwi Starfruit Refreshers before the real drink that we’re excited about comes out. And then come back to this post and let us know what you think!
