Mads Mikkelsen Is In Talks To Replace Johnny Depp In Fantastic Beasts And I’m Not Sure How To Feel
Nope. That is a nope from me.
As you know, Johnny Depp has been released from playing the character of Gellert Grindelwald in the movie franchise Fantastic Beasts.

I mean, let’s call it what it is — he was asked to resign, reportedly due to the allegations of spousal abuse brought against him by a British tabloid.
That meant the movie studio had to scramble to find a replacement to fill the shoes of the departing Depp. And, who did they choose, Mads Mikkelsen.
Yes, the dude from the Hannibal series on NBC.
Mikkelsen is now in talks to step into the role of Gellert Grindelwald.
He may be GREAT at playing the role, but let’s be honest, he is no Johnny Depp.
Mads Mikkelsen has not yet signed on that dotted line, but he is at the tops of the list of actors they want to replace Depp.
The movie has been delayed until the Summer of 2022, so the movie studio can get all their ducks in a row, and shoot the movie with the NEW Grindelwald.
What do YOU think about the new choice for Gellert Grindelwald?
