If you grew up in the late ’80s, early ’90s, then you most definitely remember Mall Madness! Get ready for a bit of nostalgia, because I have some news – it is back!
Milton Bradley released the original Mall Madness game back in 1988. In 1989 they released a talking version which was a pretty huge deal back then.
Teen girls everywhere loved this game! The goal of the game? Well, the goal was to be the first shopper to buy all of the items on your shopping list of course!
It features a 3D gameboard with 22 stores and 2 floors. You get to shop for sales and even go to the ATM when you need cash!
Well, it’s coming back this fall on October 1st 2020!
It will be sold online and at most major retailers. It will cost you $24.99 and it would make a terrific Christmas gift. You can actually pre-order it on Amazon!
This new version is nearly identical to the original electronic one from 1989! If you still want the original you can find them online for upwards of a $100 or so dollars.
Can you believe it has been off the shelves for 15 years? People in attendance at the New York Toy Show were able to see the new version in person.
As a player, you get to pick who you want to be. You can be Gwen, Sage, Avery, or Dax! This is great for ages 9 and up!
So who is hosting game night or a slumber party? I’m ready!
