A Mini Replica Of The ‘Rosebud Motel’ Has Popped Up In Seattle And It’s Absolutely Picture Perfect
Seattle isn’t just the birthplace of Starbucks Coffee and the GREATEST music movement of all times. It NOW has a miniature Rosebud Motel, from Schitt’s Creek, and I must go see it!!
This miniature replica of Rosebud was created by Richard Knowles, who lives in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, and it is simply perfect!
This picture-perfect miniature motel was first spotted on Reddit by a passerby who snapped a photo of the replica, and now people have been traveling to the neighborhood just to get their picture taken with the realistic replica, and I can’t say that I blame them!
Mr. Knowles took to social media to clarify that “It took about a month to build this covid project. To be clear on the size, its 25 feet wide and 12 feet tall. Everything is new except the roof. It’s almost an exact replica of the Rosebud motel minus one room from the office over to the right. I just wanted to bring some joy to a not so joyous year and it has seemed to work.”
Schitt’s Creek has even taken to Instagram to show their support for this cool little picture prop Rosebud Motel.
The motel is just perfect, down to the tiniest detail. Isn’t this absolutely fantastially awesome? How many times must he have binge watched the show, to catch all these fun finds?!?
This isn’t the FIRST time that Richard has used his talents to build a tiny motel. At Halloween, he builds a mini Bates Motel, and I wish I lived closer, so I could go see it!!
There just might be a road trip in my near future!!
If you are in the Seattle area, you have to make the trek over to the Queen Anne neighborhood, and check out this awesome find for yourself! Don’t forget your camera.
