Trust me, it’s going to be okay!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but if you are one of the many that relied on PlayStation Vue to stream live TV, you’ll need to look for a new service ASAP because you’ve probably noticed you can no longer use the service, like at all.

Instead you probably get something like this:

Yup, PlayStation Vue is no longer available and this is for GOOD.

Back in October, Sony announced the closure explaining it was closing Vue because of rising content costs and said it would rather focus on its core gaming business.

I totally get that.

Still, it doesn’t make it easy for those that relied on the service.

Vue was available as an internet-connected app for a number of devices, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Sony’s own PlayStation consoles. The cheapest package was $49.99 per month. So really, not much cheaper than cable.

So, what do you do now?

Well, now that Vue is gone forever, change services.

You can sign-up for other streaming services that offer Live TV options as part of a package or add-ons. These include:

  • Hulu
  • Comcast Xfinity Stream
  • YouTube TV
  • Sling TV
  • FuboTV
  • Philo
  • Vidgo

I never had PlayStation Vue but now that it’s gone, I am grateful for services like Hulu, Netflix and Disney+ that can keep me entertained.
