There’s just one more reason for everyone to love the world of Twitter.

They have decided that their employees can work from home for as long as said employees deem fit — even after the coronavirus is banished from existence.

Opening offices will be our decision. When and if our employees come back, will be theirs.

Twitter has made the bold decision — at least it’s the plan RIGHT NOW — that they will not open back up their offices until September. They have cancelled all of their group events, and they will “reassess” the situation for 2021.

BUT, even if and when they decide to open back up, their workers can continue to work from their homes.

This is a MAJOR decision, as so many Americans have run into job issues — including the loss of jobs — due to not being able to come into an office to work.

LUCKILY, the jobs at Twitter can mostly be done remotely, so this has not affected employees as harshly as employees at some other companies.

The past few months have proven we can make (working from home) work. So, if our employees are in a role and situation that enables them to work from home and they want to continue to do so forever, we will make that happen. If not, our offices will be their warm and welcoming selves, with some additional precautions, when we feel it’s safe to return.

Now, more companies need to follow in the footsteps of Twitter. I know it may not be feasible for EVERY company to operate remotely, but those that can, should consider it. IMHO.
