‘WandaVision’ Is Only The Beginning Of Big Things For Disney+
If you are one of the many people that cancelled their Disney+ membership once The Mandalorian ended, you might just want to listen up!
WandaVision is the new Marvel show that dropped on Disney+ just a few days ago, and I am OBSESSED.
Not only is it a show right out of the MCU, it is Marvel Studios’ FIRST original series for Disney+ — and it is going to be HUGE!!
The show can only mean big things for Disney+, who already has a strong foothold in the streaming world, with Disney, Pixar, and Star Wars as part of their very strong lineup.
There are millions of Disney+ subscribers that spend $50 to $80 a year just for eight weeks of ‘The Mandalorian.’ If Disney can get its Marvel series slate right, those customers should be willing to pay a lot more for Disney+ in the coming years,
Matthew Ball, former Amazon Studios executive to CNN Business
With feature films going through an especially tough time, it helps the overall Disney+ proposition to have Marvel generating content on their end of the platform. A series also helps the world-building, because there is more time to explore different facets of the Marvel Universe than the two hours of a movie.
Zak Shaikh, vice president of entertainment at Magid to CNN Business
Y’all. Disney doesn’t plan to stop with just WandaVision — which is a GENIUS show thus far.
It plans to release other MCU shows, such as The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, She-Hulk, and Hawkeye, just to name a few.
What does this mean? Well, my friends, if you cancelled that Disney+ membership, because you thought it was all ending with The Mandalorian, it is time to re-up that subscription!!
Things are only looking up for Disney+ from here, and you don’t want to miss a moment of it!
