10 Million Viewers Watched The New ‘Game of Thrones’ Prequel Series Making It The Most Watched Premiere in HBO History
Y’all don’t be sleeping on watching the new Game of Thrones prequel series – House of The Dragon.
As a huge Game of Thrones fan myself, I was a bit skeptic they could make a series as good as GOT but man, I watched the series premiere last night and it was SO GOOD.
The House of The Dragon is a prequel series to Game of Thrones and is based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, which is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen.
People are so excited for this series that nearly 10 million people watched the pilot episode.
In fact, on the premiere night (Sunday) HBO Max crashed due to the volume of people trying to watch the series.
Not to mention, that HBO stated:
The debut, titled “The Heirs of the Dragon,” is “the largest audience for any new original series in the history of HBO,” according to the network.
WOW!
You can watch the first episode of The House of Dragon on HBO Max now. A new episode releases every Sunday night.
