15-Minute Loaded Potato Skins are the Appetizer of Your Dreams
I seriously can’t stop thinking about these 15-Minute Loaded Potato Skins, planning when I can buy more supplies and make a batch to enjoy again.
They’re literally one of the BEST meals.
And, since they can be made so fast, they’re absolutely worth making just as a lunch or a quick appetizer for a party.
I mean, everybody likes them (literally I have not met a person that does not like these), and they’re fast.
Like chips and salsa, it’s a veritable “universal” snack everyone can enjoy.
And, don’t be surprised if you see a few more recipes using this same base for some amazing tastiness–because potato skins are so versatile, you can do a LOT with them.
See, you just start with these cool “naked” potato skins I found at the grocery store in the freezer section.
The minute I saw them, I was super intrigued.
So, I took a chance and decided to risk my $4 investment and try them.
Needless to say, for a fun treat in 15-minutes, they were totally worth it.
I literally just stayed with the basic Loaded Potato Skins concept so that I could test these this first time.
And that meant bacon.
Lots of that fun REAL bacon stuff you get on the salad dressing aisle.
That stuff is like little bits of magic.
And then, of course, I topped with PLENTY of shredded cheese.
I went with the traditional cheddar, but you could always do mixed or pepper jack…anything.
One last sprinkle of salt, to make sure it’s all good and they were ready for the oven (again).
Just 5 minutes.
Only 5 more minutes…
And then they were so ready.
So very, very ready.
I could hardly wait to get them off the baking sheet and onto a plate, I was so excited and they smelled so good.
I prefer to serve mine with sour cream, but you can always mix it up with ranch dressing or salsa.
Whatever–they are totally yours at this point! LOL!
And when I dug-in, i could not have been more pleased.
These tasted EXACTLY like the ones I get at my little local Bar and Grill.
Soft in the middle, crisp on the outside and all that bacon and cheese….mmmm…
So, you’re totally ready to make your own 15-minute Loaded Potato Skins?
