Caring for Your New LuLaRoe Clothes
Disclosure: I’m sharing #purclean in my life as part of a Tide® sponsored series for Socialstars™
By now I think everyone has heard about LuLaRoe. One quick browse on Facebook and you’ll see someone posting their newest patterns and goodies. I for one, have become a bit obsessed with stalking groups for the next pop-up sale. Typing fast and winning that perfect item is one thing (because I can totally handle that) but Caring for Your New LuLaRoe Clothes, is an entirely different story.
Caring for Your New LuLaRoe Clothes
You see, LuLaRoe is a lot like having a baby. You cherish and love each item as if it were first born and when it gets dirty, you give it a bath. But not just any bath, a very special and care bath in the washer because if you don’t, “you’ll be sad” like the tag says. Really, the tag totally says that on some of the items…
So forget being sad, here are some tips for Caring for Your New LuLaRoe Clothes:
- Machine wash cold
- Machine wash on gentle cycle
- Turn items inside out prior to washing
- Hang to dry
- Use a quality detergent (and avoid anything with bleach or harsh chemicals in it)
*I have dried my leggings on low heat or air dry and they have been just fine (no shrinking or discoloration). However, do this at your own risk.
Now I will say that there are a few exceptions for a few items. Some of them do say “hand wash only” but for the most part, you can follow the instructions above and your LuLaRoe loot will be just fine.
Some of the tips above are ones you may already know but did you know you truly help your LuLaRoe clothes stay beautiful and perfect by using a good detergent? What if I told you that you can also help the environment too? Well, that would be a win/win then, huh?
Guess what? You totally can have it ALL!
I gave the new Tide purclean™ a try and I love that way it cleans! It cleans just like the way you know Tide does but Tide purclean™ is a greener alternative because it’s made with 100% renewable wind power electricity and made at a zero manufacturing waste to landfill site.
I am already an avid user of Tide but when I found out there was a better way to clean my clothes especially my LuLaRoe clothes, I had to give it a try!
The formula contains water, plant derived surfactants, coconut derived cleaning agent, plant derived processing aid, bio-derived enzymes, mineral based enzyme stabilizer, pH adjuster, chelant and fragrance. The fragrance is a light lavender (it’s honey lavender) so it smells great too.
If you are looking for a way to help the environment and clean your LuLaRoe clothes in the way that they deserve, you need to give this detergent a try! I mean after all, LuLaRoe are high-quality clothes so you need a quality detergent to get and keep them clean!
You can learn more about Tide purclean™ on their website and on Facebook.

Washed my Carly- cold and delicate, pulled out of washer and it now has some odd dark spots on the back of it? What gives??
I was making a recipe with shea butter and coconut oil and put it in the fridge to harden a little. I took it out and it spilled all over my solid Lularoe leggings. I washed them inside out in Tide and the grease stain did not come out. Any ideas?
Dawn dish detergent works well on grease stains, I’d try that.
Nice!! Does the Tide work for cold wash?
