Disney Just Updated The Release Schedule For All Upcoming Movies. Here’s What We Know.
We all know that theaters across the country have closed, due to the current state of all things social distancing.

Some theaters are finally making plans to open, but some movie studios have decided to either push their release dates, or just bring the movies straight to a streaming service.

In the case of Disney, they have announced their plans for movie releases for the next foreseeable future, but this is not the first time they have announced changes to release dates.

For now, information on new Disney releases is as follow:
The One and Only Ivan, which was set to come to theaters on August 14th, has now been slated to come straight to Disney+. You will see it in the movie lineup of the streaming giant on August 21.
My daughter HIGHLY recommends this movie, btw. She says the book is amazing!c

Three movie release dates have been pushed back: The Beatles: Get Back, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, and The Personal History of David Copperfield.

None of these films are big hitters for Disney, but they have to carefully consider EVERY release to determine what the best plan of action is going to be, moving forward. Each release affects the movies that are to be released around it.

The Beatles: Get Back, which was originally set to come to theaters in September, is now going to premiere in theaters on August 27 — 2021!!
The musical, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, was set to premiere October of this year. It is now going to be release in January of 2021.
The Personal History of David Copperfield, which had previously been taken completely off the premiere schedule, will now come to theaters on August 14th.
As far as Marvel movies, each film has now been delayed to the release date of the film behind it. Does that make sense? So Black Widow, which was set to come out in May, will now come out in November — when The Eternals was originally set to premiere.
The Eternals has now been pushed to a release date of sometime in 2021.
We will keep you updated as we know more. It is always possible that Disney will, again, change the plans on release dates.
