‘Dinosaurs’ Is Coming To Disney+ This Fall And My Childhood Self Just Jumped For Joy
My childhood is coming back to visit in a BIG way, courtesy of Disney+ this fall, and I couldn’t be more giddy!
Do y’all remember the show Dinosaurs?
You know, that awesome muppet-type show that appeared on ABC in the 1990s. It ran for 4 seasons — 65 episodes — and was created by the Jim Henson company right before Mr. Henson passed in 1990.
It starred the Sinclair family, a family of dinosaurs that lived in the “modern world,” where they had houses, electricity, TVs, and humans as pets.
Sounds bizarre, I know, but it was the BEST show!! You just have to see it. I even got my kids loving it. We have had to resort to watching episodes on YouTube, but not anymore!! Ha!
During the airing of ABC’s brand new game show, “Don’t”, Ryan Reynolds, who is producing and also acting as the announcer for the show, said that Dinosaurs would be coming to Disney+ in the Fall.
What’s on Disney+
No date has been confirmed yet, but I’ll just be over here, holding my remote, and anxiously checking Disney+, like — ya know — hourly.
I can’t wait to spend time with my favorite dino family — Earl, Fran, Robbie, Charlene, and — my very favorite — Baby Sinclair! It’s going to be good to once again hear, “Not the momma!”
Are you looking forward to the Dinosaurs as much as I am? It’s time for a whole new generation of kids to learn what AWESOME TV really was!
What other shows are you looking forward to seeing on Disney+?
They have already brought back Schoolhouse Rock, which I was über excited about. Now, I want them to bring back the old Disney Channel shows — like Dumbo’s Circus. My daughter is dying for them to bring back Dog With a Blog. My husband is anxiously awaiting the return of The Mandalorian.
I’m happy to see this, too! Don’t let the negative comments get you down. This was definitely one of the best live-action sitcoms ever.
Imagine being excited… grow up
I don’t know why you were watching on YouTube, the shows been on Hulu for years.. That’s just simple ignorance and laziness.. You failed yourself if you’re gonna get excited when the option to watch has always been there
