Jada Pinkett Smith Finally Talks About The Oscars Slap
It’s been a minute since the crazy Will Smith incident where he slapped Chris Rock across the face and Jada Pinkett Smith has finally broken her silence on the matter.
She isn’t apologizing for the incident, but she is saying that Will Smith and Chris Rock need to set their differences aside.
On the latest episode of ‘Red Table Talk’ she said:
The recent episode of ‘Red Table Talk’ was about the topic of Alopecia and while talking about that she mentioned the Oscars incident.
My deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out, and reconcile.

Jada says that Chris Rock and Will Smith are needed now more than ever.
The state of the world today… we need them both, and we all actually need one another more than ever. Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years, and that’s figuring out this thing called life together. Thank you for listening.

Will Smith has been banned from the Oscars for the next 10 years after the slapping incident perpetrated on Chris Rock.
Personally, I don’t think Chris Rock’s comments were meant the way that Will Smith and many others took them.
I think Will Smith overreacted in a HUGE way, comedians make jokes, and yes… I get it, some people are more sensitive about things.
I myself have a bunch of disabilities and you know, in order to deal… I make fun of myself and I am ok with others doing so when it’s done in fun and not in an ugly way.
I don’t even think he was actually making fun of her alopecia, but who knows.
I guess just Will needs to address this and get it over with… and then move forward, we all make mistakes and no one is perfect.
I’m not going to really give my personal opinions on the rest, but I have some thoughts about Jada that I’ll just keep to myself for now…
