What States Are Included In The Cheese Recall of 2022?
Here we go: The cheese in question was delivered to wholesalers for distribution in grocery stores. The recalled cheese went to Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Iowa, Oklahoma, Nebraska, South Dakota, Mississippi, and Florida.

Why Is Cheese Being Recalled?
According to a company announcement, Paris Brothers, Inc. has issued a VOLUNTARY recall on cheese and cheese products.
The cheese in question has been found to possibly be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
Listeria monocytogenes [is] an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.

Is The Recalled Cheese Packaged Under Any Other Name?
Yes.
The brand names of the cheeses in question were sold under the names Paris Brothers, Cottonwood River, Cervasi, Milton, and D’amir.

Exactly What Cheeses Are Included In The Recall?
The following cheeses produced on May 4, 5, and 6, 2022 are the only products in the recall. Shipping cartons with the affected product will bear the lot codes of 05042022, 05052022, or 05062022. Individual retail outlets may have relabeled the individual consumer packages.

Nobody has reported getting sick from the cheeses in question. This is just a precautionary volunteer recall.
This recall is the result of routine sampling by the FDA, which revealed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes.
