Who else is shamelessly obsessed with The Handmaid’s Tale? I most definitely am!

I started watching it when Season 2 was already out and I binged watched the first two seasons suuuuuuper fast!

I have always been a HUGE fan of dystopian movies and TV series and this one definitely did not disappoint! We have all been patiently waiting for any news on season 4 and we finally have some!

Season 4 is set to return to us this fall! The production for this season started in March to gear up for another epic storyline.

The shooting of this show usually takes about 5 to 6 months, with a month or two of post production. So the current thought is that it will release in November of 2020.

They have yet to release any previews of this upcoming season, but we do have some news on the cast and some story lines that will be dug into.

It has been confirmed that these stars will be returning for Season 4:

  • Elisabeth Moss as June Osborne
  • Yvonne Strahovski as Serena Joy
  • Alexis Bledel as Emily
  • O.T. Fagbenle as Luke
  • Joseph Fiennes as Commander Waterford
  • Ann Dowd as Aunt Lydia

As for where this story is going to go, there should be further development on both of June’s daughters, and also view more closely on this Second American Civil War which created this dystopian society.

It was also earlier revealed that Hulu and also MGM were operating on the sequel series and will be encouraged by the Margaret Atwood’s 2019 publication named The Testaments. So if you’ve already read that, maybe you’ve gotten yourself a sneak peek!

But until then…blessed be the fruit.
