Right now on Twitter, people are going CRAZY since there has been some rumors stirring up about Disney adapting The Percy Jackson Book Series into a movie reboot and then, if all goes well, into a series.
Rumors have been circulating regarding the series since it was found out that Disney acquired the rights to the Percy Jackson series.
Sure, the movie Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters bombed in the box office but that doesn’t mean that with the right actors, budget and writers, they could make one hell of a series.
Take The Mandalorian for example, that has been so well done so far and it’s only just begun.
Just imagine what the Percy Jackson series could be if it were handled in the right hands.
People on Twitter have adopted the hashtag #DisneyAdaptPercyJackson because they want to see a really well made series and I think Disney has to deliver…
In fact, people want this series so bad, there is a petition going around asking Disney or Netflix to make it happen.
According to a website known as We Got This Covered, they have sources that tell them a Percy Jackson Series is being adapted but no other word has been made as to when or where the series will stream (perhaps on Disney+?).
So, for now, all we can do is hope and pray this series actually happens.
