I love when I see police departments have a sense of humor and that is exactly what happened here…

This Police Department Used Penn Badgley from ‘You’ to Remind You to Renew Your Car’s Registration and it was brilliant!

The Corinth Police Department in Texas posted on Facebook saying:

“I saw you in at the intersection. You came to a complete stop, and among all the other cars, you stopped next to me.

You. Stopped. Next. To. Me.

You looked towards me….
Gave me a wave through the rolled-up windows… you complimented my patrol car with a thumbs up. We exchanged a few smiles. I gave you a wave back, I even ran your license plate.

You’ll be back. You live down the street… next to the house with the loud dog that barks every morning, that we respond to at least twice a week.

You need us. It will always be our pleasure to pull you over – your registration is expired. Renew your vehicle registration – TODAY”

And people have responded accordingly:

I don’t know about YOU but I intend to make sure my car’s registration is up to date from now on.

I can only hope if I don’t, my local police department will be this COOL.
