Today is Free Green Donut Day at Krispy Kreme
On your way over to a Krispy Kreme shop, grab a bottle of champagne because there’s always a reason to celebrate when the donut giant releases an entirely new dozen of sweet treats!
That’s right, the donut shop has released not one, and not two, but four new flavored donuts for Saint Patrick’s day!
What’s dubbed their “Good as Gold” dozen, Krispy Kreme has brought the Golden Cookies & Kreme, the Hat O’ Gold, the Golden Sprinkle, and the Rainbow Kreme™ Filled doughnuts to menus.
Starting with the Hat O’ God, other than it possibly being left at the end of a rainbow, is a sweet treat covered in chocolate icing, decorated with a plaid green icing pattern, and topped with a leprechaun hat.
The Golden Cookies & Kreme that sounds offaly familiar to “cookies and cream”, is a golden cookie Kreme stuffed donut that’s dipped in white icing and smothered in golden cookie pieces and sprinkles.
However, if you’re on the hunt for the sweet taste of an Original Glazed, the Golden Sprinkle Doughnut is just what you need which features green icing and gold colored St. Patrick’s Day sprinkles.
Finally, the Rainbow Kreme Filled Doughnut is exactly how it sounds, an unglazed shell that’s filled with Kreme, covered in green icing, and finalized with a rainbow, vanilla buttercream, and gold coin sprinkles!
