‘Wonder Woman 1984’ Is Going To Drop In Theaters And On HBO Max In December And I Can’t Wait
It seems like we have been waiting forever and a half for the release of Wonder Woman 1984, but guess what! We finally have a release date, and YES it will be in theaters.
Well, it will be released on a streaming service AND in theaters — so you can choose how you want to see Gal Gadot as Diana Prince (aka Wonder Woman).
Filming on this movie was done in 2018, with an original release date in December of 2019. But, that didn’t happen. The movie got pushed, and pushed, and pushed again.
I was beginning to wonder if Wonder Woman 1984 would ever actually be released.
But, now we have a concrete release date: Christmas Day 2020.
The film will be released both in theaters AND on the HBO Max streaming service — so NOW might be the time to go pick up a subscription to HBO Max.
IT’S TIME. We’ve all waited a long time for this one to come. I can’t tell you how excited I am for all of you to see this movie. It wasn’t an easy decision and we never thought we’d have to hold onto the release for such a long time but Covid rocked all of our worlds.

We feel the movie has never been so relevant and we hope that it’ll bring some joy, hope, and love to your hearts. Wonder Woman 1984 is a special one for me and I can only hope it’ll be as special to you too. We’ve put our hearts and souls into it. So… you can watch it IN THEATERS (they’re doing an amazing job keeping it safe) and you can watch it on HBOMax from your homes. Sending you my love. Please keep safe and wear a mask. Happy holidays to all of us! Let the light shine in.
Gal Gadot
Wonder Woman 1984 is the last big movie slated to come out in 2020. There were so many others that were supposed to drop, but they have all been pushed into 2021.
So, after you open all your gifts, and partake in all your Christmas festivities, head on out to the theater — OR — log into HBO Max, and see Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman 1984.
