You Can Get A ‘Yellowstone’ Cookbook And It’s Actually Written By Chef Gator
It is no secret. I am totally addicted to Yellowstone. Counting the days until the 2nd half of the season!
I also own just about all the Yellowstone swag. Shirts, hats, beanies …
And, now I can own — and you can, too — one really cool part of the show, and I’m so excited!
Did you know that Chef Gator from Yellowstone is / was actually the head of craft services for the show.
He was recruited by the show’s director — Taylor Sheridan — as the head cook of the Dutton family.
Pretty cool, huh?!?
Well, guess what. Chef Gator made a cookbook based on what he serves the Dutton family on Yellowstone, and I must own it!
Gator’s book, titled Yellowstone: The Official Dutton Ranch Family Cookbook, has a whopping 55 recipes based on the show.
This cookbook will feature recipes inspired by the show, and also actually recipes from the show!
Rip’s Fry Bread with Scrambled Eggs and Bacon, and Beth’s Cheesy Hamburger Mac Casserole, anyone?
Gator, although on the show for the last 5 seasons, has been working on this cookbook for a solid year, choosing only the best of the best recipes.
Our executive producer, David Glasser, reached out to me first about possibly doing this, and they asked if I would be interested at all — Well, wouldn’t it be weird if I didn’t?
Gabriel “Gator” Guilbeau
Now, all the recipes in the cookbook are pretty stellar, but Gator has a favorite recipe: Rancher’s Chicken and Biscuit Dumpling.
I’m not gonna lie. That sounds amazing!
The Yellowstone: The Official Dutton Ranch Family Cookbook is slated to drop on September 12, but you can preorder it for $35 HERE.
I know I’ve ordered mine! I can’t wait to taste those biscuits.
