I am a total boho chick. The more boho the better when it comes to attire that I put on my body. It’s how I feel comfortable, and I’m not going to apologize for it, so there. Ha!
When I saw this crochet shawl, I almost had a *SQUEE* moment — but I’m too cool for that (I’m totally not. I SQUEEed away.).
Then I saw that this was not a finished piece, but a crochet pattern. My heart sank. I am not talented enough to pull off a pretty pattern.
But, then I read into it. You only have to be a beginner, and know how to do a half-double-crochet. Which I DON’T know how to do, but the description says they even have basic directions for the HDC.
Y’all. I can totally do this! And, if I can, you sure as heck can!!

You could totally make it as fancy or as simple as you want, just by the yarn that you choose to use. Then, when you are done, you could even embellish your shawl with — I don’t know — whatever embellishments go on shawls. LOL!! They HAVE to have some, right?

Why is the pocket shawl listed as a free pattern, and then when you open it up it asks for money?
Soo, I’m crocheting this now, but had to rip it out and start again. I’m an experienced crocheter, but when I did it the way the pattern says, it’s 20 inches too long!!! I had to use a “J” hook instead of an N hook, and cut out 30 hdc in the beginning chain for it to be the right size. It looks simple… and it IS, once you figure out how to make it for a woman and not Tte Hulk!!!

I did buy this pattern was excited to get it, and for some reason, I cannot for the life of me, download it, I try everything possible on Etsy even contacted her, it still will not download I’m so sad.
Etsy patterns only download onto computers so if you’re trying to download onto a cellphone it won’t work.
Not true, you can download etsy pdf’s by changing your browser settings to desktop view and it’ll give you a button to click in your orders that says download files.
It took me a few tries to download, but then I quickly printed it from my iPhone.
Me too – you have to get on a laptop or regular so outer if you have iPhone – what a mess! Took me several hours to try and Figure this out!!
