Another popular animated movie is about to be remade into a live-action film. I sure hope it’s gonna be good.

One of my favorite franchises — outside of Disney — is the How To Train Your Dragon films.

However, Hiccup and Toothless are about to be turned into live-action characters, and I’m just not sure how I feel about the whole thing.

I am not a huge fan of all the live-action remakes of classic animated films that I love. *Grumpy Face*

Maybe I’m in the minority, but I just think the animated versions of films like Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Pinnochio are far superior to their live-action counterparts.

Do we really need to turn EVERY animated classic into a live-action film?!?

Well, apparently Universal Pictures has jumped on the live-action bandwagon, because they are about to bring us How To Train Your Dragon, the live-action version.

The film is in the casting process, and already has a writer and producer,  Dean DeBlois — who worked on the other animated How To Train Your Dragon films.

And, get this, they already have a release date for the live-action How To Train Your Dragon.

According to Comicbook.com, it is set to hit theaters March 14, 2025.

Not much else is known about the How To Train Your Dragon live-action film, but we will keep you updated as we learn more.

How do YOU feel about a live-action version of the popular franchise?
