This Company Gives Free Disney Covers to Kids With Bionic Arms
This is the Hero Arm. You may have seen it on YouTube, Facebook, or even on TV. It’s the world’s first bionic arm, for below the elbow amputees, that is medically certified and 3D-printed.
It uses your arm muscles to control its multi-gip functionality. Basically, it’s AWESOME!
Now, as if being able to have a bionic arm wasn’t absolutely cool enough, Hero Arm has partnered with Disney to bring SWITCHABLE COVERS to the arm!
The arm comes with a FREE cover, but then you can choose from Disney covers, including BB-8 from Star Wars, Iron Man, and a Frozen cover that looks like it’s straight out of Arendelle.
We’re now offering Star Wars BB-8, Marvel Iron Man and Disney Frozen bionic arm covers for free to limb-different children and adults with every Hero Arm. 11-year-old Cameron Millar, 11-year-old Evie Lambert and 12-year-old Raimi Davis were amongst the first to receive a bionic Hero Arm that now comes with 3D-printed Disney-inspired covers. The Hero Arm and the Star Wars, Marvel, and Disney Frozen covers for the Hero Arm are custom-made using innovative 3D-printing and 3D-scanning techniques.
These covers are switchable with your outfits or your mood!
Not only do these bionic arms give people a bit more autonomy, they look super cool.
Each Hero Arm is custom-built using 3D printing and 3D scanning technologies. The prosthesis is robust, and the socket is comfortable, adjustable and breathable too, which means it’s easy to take on and off while providing you with the best possible fit.

Now, if Disney isn’t your thing — First of all, WHO ARE YOU?!? — Open Bionic DOES have other arm covers you can choose from.
But, I’d totally go with one of the Disney choices!
