Walmart Has Pulled All MyPillow Products From Their Shelves. Here’s Why.
I’ll admit it. Those late-night infomercials really worked on me.
Damn Ambien.
I’m not embarrassed to admit that I own — not one — but TWO MyPillow classic pillows.
Okay, I’m a little embarrassed.
But, they work pretty freaking good, if I do say so myself. Dang things don’t go flat.
Walmart Is Pulling All MyPillow Products Out Of Their Stores
If they work so well, why is Walmart pulling ALL MyPillow products out of their giant retail stores?
Isn’t that kind of counterintuitive to what their goal is — sell products, make money?
Well, it seems that Walmart has certain standards, and there’s things they won’t stand for.
The MyPillow company’s CEO, Mike Lindell, holds some questionable ideas, and he isn’t afraid to voice them — very loudly.
You know Mike Lindell. He is the dude from all the MyPillow commercials. You’d recognize him if you saw him.
He is sharing the message — over and over again — that he believes “the 2020 election was rigged against former President Trump.”
Now, you can believe whatever you want. I’m not here to tell you what to believe and stand up for. That’s your life and your business.
BUT, Walmart apparently doesn’t agree with Mr. Lindell’s claims. They are so adamantly opposed to his ideas that they are “cancelling” all MyPillow products in their stores.
Lindell said in an interview on political strategist Steve Bannon’s War Room podcast that Walmart pulling the products would be a “$10 million hit” to his company.
AXIOS
Walmart isn’t the first retailer to end their relationship with MyPillow products.
Other retailers, including Kohl’s, JCPenney and Bed Bath & Beyond, pulled MyPillow products from stores in the days and weeks after the Jan. 6 Capitol attack in 2021.
AXIOS
Walmart will still carry the MyPillow Products on their website. They just won’t give them shelf space in their stores.
