Here’s Your First Look At ‘The Munsters’ Reboot by Rob Zombie
I don’t know what this trend is — the one where all the old shows are getting rebooted — but I love it!!
We’ve already been teased with reboots like Interview With a Vampire, Sex and the City, iCarly, The Rugrats, The Addams Family, and The Lost Boys.
NOW, we are getting a reboot that’s just a bit older, but I’m still hella excited to see it reimagined.
What is the next reboot to creep its way into our lives?
The Munsters!!
This new, modern take on that lovable Frankenstein-esque family that we love is coming from the imagination of Rob Zombie.
You remember Rob Zombie? That wicked singer from the 90s. He’s also had his hands in several Halloween reboots and crazy cool — slightly scary — projects through the years.
Now, don’t worry, this Munsters reboot is NOT going to be scary — but it’s sure to be all kinds of fun!
He’ll definitely be paying homage to the original — we’ll even get to hear that classic Munsters theme song — and we’ll get some fresh talent to do the job.
The Munsters couldn’t exist with Herman as the patriarch, and Jeff Daniel Phillips is going to take the helm on that job.
We get a treat, because Rob Zombie’s wife — Sheri Moon Zombie — is going to be playing Lily Munster in this wicked fun reboot.

It gets even better. Cassandra Peterson, better known as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, is going to be making a cameo in the film. I can’t freaking wait!
Another horror icon joining this cast of spooky fun characters is Dee Wallace — from The Howling and Cujo.
Now, we don’t see Eddie Munster or Marilyn Munster in the preview, but maybe they’re saving them for the next installment. *Smile Emoji*
We don’t have to wait very long for this The Munsters reboot, because it is dropping September of this year!
